I have a 2008 Honda Civic. I just started realizing a couple days ago that it started making a rattling noise in the rear of the car. I thought it may be things that were in my trunk. I removed everything from my trunk but it continued to make that noise. Now, a few days later the noise has gotten much louder. My friend told me that its probably the struts that need to be replaced….???

I have a 98 honda accord hatchback. Whenever I switch gears, it makes this squealing sound. Especially when I accelerate and I am about to stop. It sounds like metal to metal. I thought it was the belt, but had it repair and it still makes the squealing sound? Any help?
Edit: I meant to say a 98 honda CIVIC hatch, not an accord! I was thinking of my other car!

The sound stops when I put my foot on the brake, and it is louder when I drive slowly. You can hear it inside the car and outside, which I just noticed yesterday while driving in a parking garage with the window down, it’s quite loud.
Also, about 2 weeks ago, I got a flat tire, had the spare put on and got a new tire the next day. No idea if this has anything to do with it, but thought it may be worth mentioning.
My car is a 99 Honda Civic with 145k miles on it, I’ve had it for almost a year.
Thanks for any suggestions!

My 2000 Honda Civic Dx makes a knocking sound (not loud) during right hand turns. The car doesn’t shake or do anything else odd except the noise. What could be causing it?

I have a 2001 Honda Civic DX and I noticed that when I make right turns, the car makes a ding sound over and over again as long as I keep making a right turn. I drove in circles and the sound never stopped until I drove straight or left. The car drives great and handles great but I am not sure what the sound could be. Any ideas. Thank You

I have a 92 Saturn and while I’m driving it, the A/C works fine but as soon as I stop, there is a noise coming from the front of the car that sounds like a constant flutter and the car vibrates. Also when I’m stopped, the A/C isn’t cold. I also have a 99 Honda Civic and as long as I’m driving at least 40 or so mph the A/C works fine but once I stop, the car makes a noise that is somewhat like ka thunk, ka thunk, ka thunk one right after the other. It stops making the noise as soon as I start driving again or if I give it some gas. This car doesn’t vibrate though but as long as I’m stopped, it makes the noise and the A/C isn’t cold until I drive again. What in the world could be wrong with my cars? Thanks for any answers.
I just wanted to add that I bought the honda not too long ago from my friend. She said that a mechanic told her that the “A/C modulator chip” needed to be replaced. When I spoke to my father who is also a mechanic he said that the part doesn’t exist. Does anyone know if it does or not? My father doesn’t live near by or I’d let him look at the car.
I wanted to also add that I don’t think I need to check those things because it drives just fine. Neither car has any problems until I actually stop. Even the honda doesn’t make any noise until I stop the car and let off of the gas

I have a 1999 Honda Civic DX. Lately, when I go in reverse and hit the breaks, the car (or the breaks) makes a squeaking noise. Does anyone know what this means? Is it something I need to fix immediately (it’s been going on for a while)?
