97 Honda Accord EX. and no its not my signal or starter. it happens when im in motion.
IF* its the CV joint, will it break off?
I had just got new tires and work done on my transmission on the same day. It only happens when I hit the gas going forward not reversing. I was driving on asphalt which would cause my new tires to make noise. The ticking doesn’t happen when my car is just on and idle. Only when I move forward. I can’t hear it if I have my windows up. And my husband says if it were a problem under my hood, I would be able to hear the noise windows up or not. Everybody suggests I give my new tires a week to break them in. Please help, the noise is so annoying!
I remember hearing this guy before a Car Talk break a few months ago. He would tell stories using sentences mainly constructed from car makes and models.
Suppose a car can accelerate at 1m/s2. How large a break in traffic is needed to enter a highway where cars are moving a 20m/s if the drive wants to avoid forcing the next car to slow down or to approach closer than 25m?
