Every time I hit the gas, I hear a squeaking noise from the right side of the car. When I put my foot on the brakes, it stops. I just got my car serviced 3 weeks ago, so I don’t think it’s any major problem.

I’ve tried ********* the mechanical parts around my tires with WD-40, and it has helped some, but not much.
Is there anything that I can do at home to make the squeaking go away?

The car is a 1996 (8?) Chevy Corsica, and we replaced the brakes last year, and the power steering fluid levels are fine.

every time i break it makes weird noise. and when im parked and push the brake to get out of a parking it also makes that noise as well. . i don’t think there nothing wrong with the brakes i checked them the other day i took of the tires off they seem fine what can be the problem its getting annoying. i would like to find solution asap.thanks.

The car is a toyota camry 1997 automatic transmission, the ticking is relative to wheel speed, i hear it coming from the front left tire area, when breaking at high speeds i feel vibration in steering wheel,also at low speeds the brakes will squeak at coming to a stop. BTW, it is not the CV joint because it happens when driving straight and turns. I am thinking the rotors, any ideas?

Braking on a normal road is fine and when I brake there isn’t any noise. When I use the brake on a incline, hill, or when going over a speedbump, I hear a squeaky noise.

My car is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. I got it in August of 2007 and the dealer said the brakes were new.

i have a 2006 dodge stratus. it was 46000 miles on it(yea a lot of driving). when i press the gas it makes this squeaking noise. but only when im moving. if the car is in park and i hit the gas. it doesnt make any noise. ill be able to get this fixed on friday. could it be the timing belt or brakes? i still need to get my oil changed and was hoping they could look at the belts also.
