i dont think it is a wheel bearing because i seen vids on youtube showing how to replace and tell if its that but the sound they make is not the same. heres what it sounds like

so ya what is it and how can i stop it. plus one time i tried rolling the car and hearing it outside at low speeds and i didnt hear the noise at all so it can’t be a wheel bearing right?

i generally hear at speeds below 35

Sometimes the car would not start when he went to drive it before, so he just got a new battery and starter (even though now sometimes it still does that). So I called up a windshield place and asked about getting it replaced and they said they prefer to do repairs because replacing the windshield makes it unsafe to drive. They said in case of an accident the replaced windshield will pop out and cause the roof of the car to fall in or send the passengers out the window because only the original factory seal prevents this. Please advise if this is indeed the case. I want to make the right decision and get this taken care of immediately.

The car is a 1996 (8?) Chevy Corsica, and we replaced the brakes last year, and the power steering fluid levels are fine.

I have a 2004 Cavalier. When I start the car, almost immediately after it starts up there’s a thump sound. Just one thump and it seems to be coming from the front driver’s side. No other time will I here this noise or other strange noises. I have the oil changed regularly as well as the coolant. The tranny fluid was changed after I bought the car in April 07. The check engine light is super sensitive and doesn’t even come on for this.
