when i first start my car, a majority of the time, it makes a loud sqeeking noise that goes away in 2-10 seconds.. usually it happens when i start my car with the a/c on.. i notice it happens very rarely when i have my a/c off when first starting the car, sometimes it does still happen though but only for a quick second… what is this and is there anything i can do to fix it myself?

The car is a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE equipped with an in-dash Bose 6-disc CD changer. Every time I start the car or try and change CD’s, it just makes a funny noise like a CD is stuck. I try to give ignition and and the car makes continous clicking sound (click-click-click-click-click-click) and the noice stops once I stop trying to give ignition. I noticed the lights were dim so I jump started my car and it worked. I kept my car on for 10 minutes hoping to charge the battery. After 10 minutes I turned my class off took the keys out and started the car again. The car started without a problem.
So I thought the problem was solved. But today morning the its giving the same clicking noice like yesterday and I cannot start the car. The light are dim again I don’t know what to do.

I drive a Triumph TR6. There is no category for triumph, or even a british leyland category. I am sick + tired of this, as are many other drivers of makes like Cadillac , Packard, AMC,Jaguar + and all those other makes that did’nt get a category, especially since they gave categories to mahindra+ maruti, tata, skoda and all those stupid cars that no one cares about! They even have categories for cars they dont even make any more like fiat or alfa romeo. What can we do to get even?
